File Formats
The higher the resolution of the video the larger the file will be. AVCHD is a file format that is for high definition video, but this format is very large so that the file is not very useful for sharing. AVI is a format that is not used for the final output of the video. WMV is a format that is only used on windows operating systems and the files are tiny as they are highly compressed. This is one of the smaller sharing formats and is the only one that can be shared via email. MOV is a file that can only be used on Apple operating systems and is still to big to share. FLV is extremely because it is small but still looks good. MPEG 2 is the type of file used on DVD's and is far too big for the internet. MPEG 4 is a format that is tiny for sharing but still has brilliant quality. This is why I have chosen to output the file in this format.
