File Formats Pro's and Con's

The reason for not using AVCHD is because the file cannot be shared very easily as the file created is too large. AVI isn't used in the final output as the quality of the video will be lost. WMV isn't used as often as this file format only works on windows operating systems, but it is one of the smallest file size and is the only one that can be sent via email (so it easier to share). Similar to the WMV the MOV file format only works on Mac operating systems so is very rarely used. FLV is one of the most used because it's file size is really small yet the quality is still good. MPEG 2 is the file format used in DVD so the video quality is always brilliant, but because the quality is so good the file size is far too big to be shared.

File Formats

The higher the resolution of the video the larger the file will be. AVCHD is a file format that is for high definition video, but this format is very large so that the file is not very useful for sharing. AVI is a format that is not used for the final output of the video. WMV is a format that is only used on windows operating systems and the files are tiny as they are highly compressed. This is one of the smaller sharing formats and is the only one that can be shared via email. MOV is a file that can only be used on Apple operating systems and is still to big to share. FLV is extremely because it is small but still looks good. MPEG 2 is the type of file used on DVD's and is far too big for the internet. MPEG 4 is a format that is tiny for sharing but still has brilliant quality. This is why I have chosen to output the file in this format.

Feedback sheet 2

the feedback says

They liked the music because they thought it fitted the type of game i was reviewing. They thought the game deserved either an 8 or 9 rather than a 10 out of 10. again would prefer the game clips to be in colour rather than black and white.
